Removal

ATTENTION
On cars with the ABS system remove the sensor of frequency of rotation of a back wheel.
Be careful at removal of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel from an arm not to damage a polar tip of the sensor about teeths of its rotor or other details.

Remove a support of a disk brake and suspend it aside by means of a wire.
Remove a brake disk.
Uncover a nave, turn off a nut of fastening of the hug bearing and remove a lock washer.

Remove a nave assembled (fig. 3.151).

ATTENTION
The knot of the hug bearing of a back wheel is not subject to dismantle.
Be careful not to scratch or to damage teeths of a rotor of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel. Do not drop a rotor. Formation of chips on sensor rotor teeths, will lead to deformation of a rotor and, as a result, to impossibility of the correct determination of frequency of rotation of a wheel and violation of work of the ABS system in general.

Check
Check an epiploon for lack of cracks or damages.
Check the wheel bearing for lack of wear or damages.
Check lack of chips on teeths of a rotor of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel.
Check a fist of a back wheel for lack of cracks.

Installation

After an inhaling of a flange nut fuller edge of a nut on dredging of a shaft of a fist of a back wheel (fig. 3.152).

ATTENTION
Replace a flange nut new after removal.

For cars with the ABS system install the sensor of frequency of rotation of a back wheel. For this purpose insert the flat probe into a gap between a polar tip of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a wheel and tooth of a rotor of the sensor. Fix the sensor so that the gap between a polar tip of the sensor and tooth of a rotor (on all circle) was in limits of nominal rate (fig. 3.153).
Nominal gap size: 0,2–1,3 mm.
Establish a wheel nave cover.
