Engines of cars of Hyundai are equipped with the circulating cooling system. For circulation of cooling liquid the centrifugal pump serves. The cooling system of the engine consists of a shirt of cooling, a radiator with the electric fan, the centrifugal water pump, the thermostat and hoses. The cooling system works with a separate broad tank.
The contour of cooling liquid has thermostatic management. So far the engine cold, cooling liquid circulates only in a head of the block of cylinders, and also in the block of cylinders and the heat exchanger. In process of warming up of the engine the thermostat opens a big contour of the cooling system. Cooling liquid begins to move constantly working pump through a cooling system radiator. Cooling liquid passes through a radiator from top to down and at the same time is cooled with the air passing between radiator plates.
When temperature of cooling liquid is in range between +92... +97 °C, the thermoswitch is included by the radiator electric fan. The electric fan is put in action by the electric motor and works until temperature of cooling liquid does not fall lower than +84... +91 °C.

ATTENTION
The electric fan of a radiator can turn on also at the switched-off ignition. In a motor compartment it can happen because of heat several times.

Thanks to not constantly working fan the useful power of the engine increases and fuel consumption is cut.
The Beskorpusny thermostat of the cooling system has a firm thermosensitive filler.
Cooling system radiator tubular and lamellar, aluminum, with plastic tanks. Cooling liquid is filled in in system through a bulk mouth of a broad tank which stopper has inlet and final valves.

Check of technical condition
Check pipelines and hoses of the cooling system for existence of cracks, damages and reduction of the section through passage.
If necessary replace defective parts.

Insert a sealing ring into a flute on the end of the bringing pipeline, moisten a sealing ring with cooling liquid and attach the bringing pipeline to the block of cylinders (fig. 2.173).
Be convinced available tags of yellow color on the bringing hose and attach the end of a hose with a yellow tag to the end of the bringing pipeline with a yellow tag.

NOTE
You do not apply oil or lubricant on a sealing ring of the bringing pipeline.
The bringing pipeline should be inserted into a nest in the block of cylinders against the stop.
The removed sealing rings are not reused and is subject to replacement with new.
