Removal
Weaken bolts of fastening of a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid.
Weaken a bolt of fastening of the generator.
Remove a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid and a belt of the drive of the generator.
Remove a pulley of a bent shaft.

Uncover a belt of the GRM drive (fig. 2.56).
Take a natyazhitel aside of the pump of cooling liquid and temporarily tighten fastening bolts that the natyazhitel did not come back.
Turn off a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the camshaft.
Remove a camshaft asterisk.
Take off a GRM drive belt.

NOTE
In case of reuse of a belt of the GRM drive it is necessary to put with chalk on the return (non-working) surface of a belt to the shooter, specifying the direction of rotation (or an arrangement of a pulley of a bent shaft) that at installation of a belt not to mix the direction of its rotation (fig. 2.57).

Turn off bolts of fastening of an asterisk of a bent shaft. Remove an asterisk and the directing washer from a bent shaft.
Remove a natyazhitel of a belt of the GRM drive.

Check of an asterisk, roller of a natyazhitel of a belt of the drive грм and the directing roller
Check a camshaft asterisk, an asterisk of a bent shaft, a roller of a natyazhitel of a belt of the GRM drive and the directing roller for lack of excessive wear, cracks and damages.
Replace them if necessary.

Check ease and smoothness of rotation of a roller of a natyazhitel of a belt of the GRM drive and the directing roller and be convinced of lack of an excessive side play and extraneous noises at rotation (fig. 2.58).
Replace a roller if necessary.
Replace a roller if lubricant effluence traces from its bearing are found.
Check a belt for lack of pollution or oil deposits. Replace a belt if necessary. Small pollution of a belt can be removed with dry rags or cleaning paper. Do not apply solvents to these purposes.

At capital repairs of the engine or adjustment of a tension of a belt carefully examine a belt. If it is found any of the listed below defects, replace a belt with new (fig. 2.59).

NOTE
The normal belt has to have accurately pointed lateral faces, similar to the surfaces which are cut off by a knife.

Installation

Establish the directing washer and an asterisk of a bent shaft, as shown in the drawing (fig. 2.60).
Pay attention to orientation of details at installation.
Moment of an inhaling of a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a bent shaft: 140–150 N · m.

Establish a camshaft asterisk, tighten a bolt of its fastening the nominal moment (fig. 2.61).
Moment of an inhaling of a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of the camshaft: 80–100 N · m.
Establish the directing roller and tighten a bolt of its fastening the nominal moment.
The moment of an inhaling of a bolt of fastening of the directing roller: 43–55 N · m.
Combine tags of asterisks of cranked and distributive shaft with adjusting tags when the piston of the cylinder No. 1 is in compression step VMT.

Establish details of a natyazhitel of a belt of the GRM drive in the following order: natyazhitel, spring and expansion plug of a natyazhitel. Temporarily tighten a bolt of hinged fastening of a natyazhitel. Temporarily tighten an adjusting bolt of a natyazhitel with a washer (in a longitudinal opening of an arm of a natyazhitel). Hook on the lower end of a spring for a ledge on the case of the oil pump, as shown in the drawing (fig. 2.62).
Take a roller of a natyazhitel aside of the pump of cooling liquid, temporarily tighten bolts of fastening of a natyazhitel.
Put on a GRM drive belt an asterisk of a bent shaft.

Put on a GRM drive belt a camshaft asterisk. After that be convinced that the working branch of a belt is tense. Then make effort in the opposite direction of rotation (counterclockwise) for a camshaft asterisk to pull a working branch of a belt, and be convinced that all adjusting tags are combined (fig. 2.63).
Tighten at first an adjusting bolt of a natyazhitel, then a bolt of hinged fastening of a natyazhitel.
Moment of an inhaling of a bolt of fastening of a natyazhitel: 20–27 N · m.
Turn a bent shaft on one turn in the normal direction of rotation (clockwise) and again combine a tag of a bent shaft with an adjusting tag (the cylinder No. 1 in compression step VMT).

Again check a GRM drive belt tension. A hand record together a natyazhitel and a belt of the GRM drive, then slightly press a thumb (with effort about 49 N) in the horizontal direction on a belt opposite to the center of a roller of a natyazhitel (fig. 2.64).
Make sure that the top of tooth of a belt of the GRM drive deviates approximately on 1/4 width of a head of an adjusting bolt of a natyazhitel (concerning a bolt head side).
Establish a GRM drive belt cover.
Moment of an inhaling of bolts of fastening of a cover of a belt of the GRM drive: 8–10 N · m.
Establish a pulley of a bent shaft. Make sure that the directing pin of an asterisk of a bent shaft entered a small opening of a pulley of a shaft.
Moment of an inhaling of bolts of fastening of a pulley of a bent shaft: 140–150 N · m.
Establish a pulley of the pump of cooling liquid.

Establish a belt of the drive of the generator and adjust its tension (fig. 2.65).
